2.5...possibly three stars. There were things I really liked about this book. I liked Logan (who doesn't love a marine?)
Of course I loved his boys (wish we got a little more of them)
I liked Mattie overall, though there were a few moments of
Her sister...well...let's just say Mattie is a better human being than I am cuz that's not how that shit would have gone down with me.
Overall, I wasn't a fan of the beginning. While I liked Logan...his insta-love was...uncomfortable to me and I didn't really feel
the connection between them or really even the lust.
Closer to halfway through I was a little more invested. I think the most interesting part of Logan and his fucked up history, and I liked how that played out, I wish a little more time and depth had been spent on that portion of the story. Overall cute read, would read more from this author.
