I really enjoyed this book. It was different than I thought it would be, heavier, I guess. It never seemed to lighten but maintained this emotional pressure, which normally I don't care for (I need the light-hearted breaks!) but it worked here. The story telling was unique, building a timeline and drawing you into each part of their lives.
It was rough and ugly and painful and man oh man did my heart hurt reading it, but it was well written and the characters were vivid and different from one another and well drawn and I loved them all. Loved the dynamics of their relationships, the interactions seem so authentic and genuine. LOVED it.
